Robin Stevens' live stream Questions

On Saturday 4th of April, Robin Stevens (one of my favourite authors ) did a live video questions and answers stream on instagram. This was because that Saturday it would have been the Oxford Literary Festival and it was canceled because of COVID-19.

I already told you that I dressed up as one of her characters for World book day this year.

Here are a few of the questions I prepared to ask her:

1. Why did you decide to write murder stories?
2. Are any bits of your stories autobiographical?
3. Why does Mr Curtis in 'Arsenic for tea' always fiddle with his watch?
4. Why did you decide to set the stories around the 1930s?
5. Why 'most unladylike'?

I had thought of one more question but then I realised that it would be a spoiler, so I am keeping it a secret.

She answered two of my questions (directly mentioning my name!) and some others asked similar questions to mine, so it was great to know their answers too.

I loved being able to see her even if not in person.
